Clearing Browsing History & Cache

Google's Chrome

Go to a web page other than the one you want to check, press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL. 
This should get you a new tab labeled ‘Settings’ and open a screen labeled ‘Clear Browsing Data’. 
Check only the options ‘Browsing History’ and ‘Cached Images and Files’ and uncheck all others.
Where it says ‘Obliterate the following items from:’ have ‘the beginning of time’ in that box.
Click the ‘Clear browsing data’ button, wait for the next screen and then close the ‘Settings’ tab.

Windows Internet Explorer

Go to a web page other than the one you want to check, press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL. 
This should get you a pop-up box labeled ‘Delete Browsing History’. 
Check ‘Preserve Favorites website data’, ‘Temporary Internet files’, ‘History’ and ‘Download History’ and uncheck the other boxes.
Click ‘Delete’ at the bottom.

FireFox

Go to a web page other than the one you want to check, press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL. 
The window should blink.

Windows 10 Edge

Go to a web page other than the one you want to check, pressing CTRL+SHIFT+DEL
This should bring up a menu.   Check the first three items and uncheck the others then  press the CLEAR button.


Use your browser's 'BACK' arrow to return to the page you came from.
